No, this is not a typo. I have an 800 mhz p3 cpu and 256 mb of memory to go with it, along with a video card, sound card, etc. The only thing I am missing is a motherboard. I want to set this up to "play" with a variety of stuff - install linux on it, test some home theater stuff on it, etc.
I know that when it comes to throwing lots of data around throughput on the motherboard is important. Can any of you dust off that part of your brain and give me some suggestions as to what to look for in a p3 mother board? I do not have the stand upright cpu. I have the one that is about 1" square and sits flat on the motherboard.
Thanks
