I have a computer that i am building. i am trying to install windows xp home on it. It had started up and was well into formatting when the computer suddenly shut off. ever since then the monitor has been blank. I tested the video card and the monitor on other computers and they both work fine. the motherboard is showing the right POST code and the fan and everything are running. It seems like everything is working but nothing is on the monitor. It is a Radeon X1650 but i also tried a Radeon X1800 and that didn't work either. the monitor is an older dell CRT and the the motherboard is an Abit AL8. I am running a Pentium 4 at 3.0 GHZ. Any ideas?
