The Wii was finally realised last week on November 19th, and the Game Cube offically died in the US.

Let us take a moment to remember the Game Cube, and all the great games that it gave us.

What about Zelda fans who don't on a Wii and are waiting for the cube version? I think the cube has one last breath left.

Well, technically, both the Gamecube and the XBox are dead. Little to no first-party titles are being released on either console. All of the attention is going towards their next-gen stuff. The only console from last-gen that still has life is probably the PS2.

It's pretty sad, isn't it?

Not really. It's something that has to happen every few years and it'll even happen to the new consoles in given time.

Yeah, I know, it's just that I've had some pretty good times with my Game Cube that I don't ever want to forget.

Of course now, I get to look forward to the next console frome Nintendo, the Wii!! I totaly can't wait to get mine. I just hope that it doesn't end up doing as poorly as the Game Cube ended up doing.

The main problem with the GC was that not enough huge games came out often enough to keep people's attention. But it seems that the Wii is correcting this problem.

I sure do hope that it will, becuase if it can't then that will be a huge let down for Nintendo fans, and for gamers in general.

*Walks over to the Gamecubes grave*
*Lays Gamecube controller stuffed in flowers on the grave*
*Tears well up*

Thanks you Gamecube for allowing to to play Metroid in 3D it my favorite Gamecube game.
You were a good console and friend*sniffs*

Also thanks for The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker.
It was the first Zelda game I ever owned.
Some may not of like its cel-shaded look, but it's what made the experience with it great.

Thank you Gamecube Thank you *water falls pour out my eyes*
