web pages cannot be viewed properly on my mother's laptop.
each page usually has a white background ie most of the colours you would normally be able to see are not there. the writing is not in the correct place and can even be jumbled up and unreadable at times. trying to fill in online forms and such is neigh on impossible as bits of the form are all over the page and some bits are not there at all!
my mothers laptop is reasonably new, i believe it has windows xp.
can anyone help?

Hi when you log onto the internet right click anywhere on the page that will open another box if you look down you will see a refresh button click on it and see if that changes it.
Also you will see in that box ENCODING click on that and see if thesettings are weston european (ISO) and left to right document.

try downloading firefox webbrowser and using that and see if you get the same problem, then post back

firefox works but to log on to websites there is a problem with iss (what ever that is)
